City Island

Ballymore/Ecoworld

Opened in early 2015, Arup Associates in collaboration with HAL, designed a series of pavilions set in landscape and linked by a covered walkway, which became the focus of the sales and marketing for Ballymore’s east London waterside development, City Island.

The building establishes an early presence at City Island, and forms part of a new network of spaces linking Canning Town Station to the north, via a new pedestrian bridge to City Island and the pavilion with routes to the south east and the Dockland’s arts quarter Trinity Buoy Wharf.

Engineering is by Arup Associates.  Landscape by Camlins with Interiors by Woods Bagot and Amos+Amos.

The wider development is by Glenn Howells Architects.
